Originating as a side project of Edinburgh’s Orkestra Del Sol,  The Brizz developed from a shared love of Brazilian Forro music. A style of music and dance from North-Eastern Brazil, Forro (pronounced Fo’Ho) combines tight percussion grooves with accordion, fiddle and call and answer vocals. The Brizz have been cultivating their sound for over 15 years, mixing in Samba, Cajun, and Scottish influences to produce an uplifting live show that is guaranteed to get the crowd singing and dancing along.

So get your dancing shoes on and come out for a good ol’ hoedown with your knees up!

The Brizz is available for: Festivals, dances, pub corners, parties, weddings, wassails, barn raisings, openings, closures, dog shows, benefits, fireside sing-alongs, tributes and sports matches. The band used to be called Bristol Branch but we changed the name! The band isn't based in Bristol - we live in sunny Edinburgh!
